Merry Christmas!!Missionaries from the England Manchester Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have now returned to their homes in more than countries around the world will be running, walking and fundraising for Barnabus over the Christmas period. Each served for between 18 months - 3 years in and around the Manchester area some time during the period between 2017-2020 and we look forward to being able to give back to this place that is so special to us all.
Merry Christmas! 2020 has been a rollercoaster for us all but, particularly so, for the vulnerable people that rely on the charity sector. This year, rather than sending Christmas cards, we have decided to donate to one of Manchester’s leading homeless charities, Barnabus. Over the next three weeks we’re inspiring our staff to support Barnabus; a homeless charity which is now entering its 30th year of helping those who sleep rough on the streets of Manchester.
Will is taking part in a running challenge which incorporated 6 routes of varying distance which amount to a marathon distance overall. All 6 runs are to be completed before December 31st. The minimum distance run will be 5km and maximum 10km with 4 other runs of 6km x 2, 7km and 8 km. All run routes are preplanned and will be followed on gps mapping.
