During September and October we’re encouraging our friends and supporters to take up a challenge to mark World Homelessness Week from now to the end of October you can do something amazing and raise vital funds to support our work to help people experiencing homelessness into new lives away from the streets. Whatever you do will also raise awareness of the Homelessness crisis in our city while encouraging others to support our work.

Autumn and Winter can be a particularly life threatening time of year for anyone who has to sleep rough on the Streets, your gifts will bring hope, support, accommodation and put an end to the revolving door of homelessness.

Take on a virtual fundraising or personal challenge; if you’re feeling fit you could walk, cycle, swim or run a distance of your choice over the next month and raise sponsorship. Using Just Giving and Strava you can also keep your supporters up to date with your progress towards your target distance or set up a charity fundraising page on our website.

Or if you’re more of a social type you could organise a virtual charity quiz or bingo night for your friends, family or colleagues to raise money together.

Or perhaps you’d like to organise a sleepout either for a personal challenge or encouraging others to sleepout in their gardens on the same night as you.

The sky is the limit; you could do a knitathon, reading challenge or if you realy want to take that saying literally you could even do a skydive.
