Between the Lockdown restrictions and the cold wet weather of winter we will all be spending alot of time indoors for the next month. Just because we have to spend almost the whole day at home doesn't mean we  can't get together with your family or housemates and even your friends (virtually) for some fun and raise life changing funds to support people experiencing homelessness. With an online fundraising page it has never been easier to start. So why not check out some of our lockdown fundraising ideas below:

  • Virtual Concert – Know some talented musicians or maybe you have talent yourself? Hold a virtual gig on face book, zoom or twitch and ask for donations instead of tickets.
  • Film night – dim the lights, get the popcorn and snuggle up with family or your house mates for a night of home cinema. Ask everyone to donate £5 and your evening will make difference to people experiencing homelessness.
  • Give something up– Want to break a bad habit in 2021? Get sponsored for giving something up this year– it might be alcohol, smoking, or chocolates.
  • Head shave – Do you have the bravery to shave your head for those less fortunate than yourself. Set up a fundraising page get sponsored to lose your locks.
  • Virtual Karaoke night We’ve had plenty of time to practice singing in the shower and no parties to let it all out. So why not grab a microphone and organise a donate-to-enter virtual karaoke contest?
  • Read-a-thon – Challenge yourself to a certain number of reading sessions, pages or books and raise sponsorship!
  • Virtual game night- Most board games can be played virtually now. Why not set one up with your friends or family and charge for tickets.
  • Dress up day– we’ve all spent a lot of the past year in our pyjamas and jogging bottoms. Why not hold a dress up day with your family, housemates or collegues. Put on your glad rags or tux for the whole day.
